Electromagnetic Fields (EMF)
Nemko provides laboratory measurements of electromagnetic fields (EMF) from household appliances, lighting and welding equipment in order to show compliance with the human exposure requirements of the low voltage directive.
For household appliances, lighting equipment and welding equipment the requirements for human exposure to EMF are covered under the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). It applies mandatory test standards for CE marking.
